KATHMANDU, Aug 26: Prime Minister KP Sharma Oli inaugurated the new building of the District Police Range at Bhadrakali, Kathmandu, amid a program organized on Monday morning.

The 2015 earthquake had turned the Kathmandu District Police Range building at Hanuman Dhoka unusable, and the police were operating out of tents in Teku.
The new building includes separate detention facilities for social offenders, drug users and dealers, and other felons.
