Prime Minister KP Sharma Oli condemned the brutal terrorist attack on innocent tourists in Pahalgam, Jammu and Kashmir.

KATHMANDU, April 23: Prime Minister KP Sharma Oli condemned the brutal terrorist attack on innocent tourists in Pahalgam, Jammu and Kashmir.


On social media platform X, he expressed deep condolences to those who lost their lives in the attack. He wrote, "In this moment of sorrow, the Government of Nepal stands firmly with the Government of India. The Government of Nepal condemns all forms and manifestations of terrorism."

Prime Minister Oli also stated that the government is closely coordinating with the relevant authorities to verify reports that a Nepali citizen was among the victims. He assured that the government would provide all possible assistance.


Indian media reported that the attack killed 28 people, including one Nepali, and injured a dozen others.
