PM Nepal holds meetings at UN

KATHMANDU, Sept 26: Prime Minister Madhav Kumar Nepal met with his Sri Lankan counterpart Ratnashree Vikramanayak on the sidelines of the 64th Session of the United Nations General Assembly in New York on Friday and discussed matters relating to bilateral cooperation and mutual interest.



According to a press release issued by the Permanent Mission of Nepal to the United Nations, also had a meeting with Navanethem Pillay, High Commissioner for Human Rights. The two discussed Nepal’s peace process and human right situation in Nepal. Minister for Foreign Affairs Sujata Koirala was also present on the occasion. 



Prime Minister Nepal also met with Mr. Jacques Diouf, Director-General of the Food and Agriculture Organization (FAO).
