PM Koirala participates in debris removal campaign

KATHMANDU, May 29: Prime Minister Sushil Koirala on Friday participated in the debris removing campaign undergoing at the Basantapur Durbar Square area, which was damaged by recent earth quake.The area is enlisted in the list of World Heritage Sites.Works are underway to remove the debris of the temples, shrines and other archeological infrastructures in the area, which were completely destroyed by the quake, in a speedy manner.

The Nepalese Army, Nepal Police, Armed Police Force and Kathmandu Metropolitan City are working with priority for the same.

On the occasion, Prime Minister Koirala also inspected the Basantapur Durbar, Hanumandhoka, Narsingh Chowk and Kumari Ghar. RSS
