PM Karki expresses grief over Delhi blast, says ‘Nepal stands with India’

In a post on social media, the prime minister conveyed condolences to the families of those who lost their lives and wished for the speedy recovery of the injured.

KATHMANDU, Nov 11: Prime Minister Sushila Karki has expressed sorrow over the explosion that occurred in Delhi’s Red Fort area on Monday night.



In a post on social media, the prime minister conveyed condolences to the families of those who lost their lives and wished for the speedy recovery of the injured.


PM Karki wrote: “I am shocked and saddened by the tragic Delhi explosion last evening. Deepest condolences to the bereaved families and prayers for the speedy recovery of the injured. Nepal stands in solidarity with India in this hour of grief.”

According to Indian media reports, eight people were killed and more than 20 others were injured in the blast. Indian police and security agencies are currently investigating the cause of the explosion.
