PM delivering keynote speech at World Leader Forum at Columbia Univ

KATHMANDU, Sept. 24: Prime Minister Madhav Kumar Nepal is delivering his keynote speech at the Columbia University on Thursday. He is the first Nepali Prime Minister to address a gathering at the university.



At the function organised by Chairman of Columbia University Dr. LC Bollinger, the prime minister will shed lights on Nepal´s present situation, peace process, world peace and present challenges.



He will draw attention of the International community over establishing peace, writing the new constitution and building development infrastructure. Possibility of Nepal´s economic development, foreign investment and some other issues will also figure in his address.



Every year during the meeting of United Nations General Assembly, the Colombia University, fifth oldest, holds such functions bringing world leaders. Last year Iranian President Mahmoud Ahmdinejad had delivered his key speech.
