KATHMANDU, Jan 27: Prime Minister Dr Baburam Bhattarai on Friday moved the Supreme Court seeking nullification of the decision of the court´s administration rejecting his petition that sought revision of the November 25 verdict on CA term extension.

While seeking nullification of the November 28 decision of the court administration, the prime minister has stated that the decision violated the existing judicial administration law and asked the court to direct the administration to register his review petition. [break]

In December the prime minister had moved the apex court with a petition seeking revision of the November-28 verdict that said the CA term can be extended upto six months for one last time.

Now the petition of the prime minister will be presented before a single bench that will decide whether to uphold the court administration´s rejection or direct the administration to accept his review petition.

According to Hemanta Rawal, co-spokesperson at the apex court, the court will hold a hearing on the petition on Sunday.
