KATHMANDU, April 26: Local winds are currently influencing Nepal's weather. The Department of Hydrology and Meteorology (DHM) reports a rise in maximum and minimum temperatures across most parts of the country. Partly cloudy skies will cover the hilly regions of Koshi, Gandaki, Karnali, and Sudurpaschim provinces, while the rest of the country will remain mostly clear.
This afternoon, clouds will partly cover the hilly areas of Koshi, Gandaki, Karnali, and Sudurpaschim, while other regions will enjoy mostly clear skies. One or two locations in the hilly areas of Koshi, Gandaki, and Karnali may receive light rain with thunder.

High hill areas and mountainous regions of Gandaki and Karnali may also see light snowfall in isolated areas. The DHM forecasts light rain and thunder in some hilly parts of Koshi, Gandaki, and Karnali and warns of possible heatwaves in the Terai regions of Lumbini and Sudurpaschim, urging people to take necessary precautions.
