One arrested for vandalizing traffic lights during pro-monarchy protest

According to an official from the Kathmandu Valley Crime Investigation Office, the suspect has been identified as Kumar Tamang. He was apprehended from the Bhaktapur area. Police also claim that Tamang set fire to a building of the herbal processing factory located in Jadibuti during the protest.

KATHMANDU, April 7:  Police have arrested a man accused of vandalizing traffic lights at Tinkune during a violent pro-monarchy protest held on March 28.


According to an official from the Kathmandu Valley Crime Investigation Office, the suspect has been identified as Kumar Tamang. He was apprehended from the Bhaktapur area. Police also claim that Tamang set fire to a building of the herbal processing factory located in Jadibuti during the protest.
