"Friends taking his care over there told me that doctors attending him have suggested keeping him in observation until Friday. After that he is likely to be discharged," UML Spokesman Pradeep Gyawali informed Republica. He was told that Oli is recuperating.[break]
According to him, Oli might have felt unwell due to exhaustion as he attended several functions within a few days. He attended some functions in Mexico before he arrived in the United States.
The party´s influential leader Oli´s kidney was transplanted some years back and he receives regular medication at Appollo Hospital in New Delhi.
Gyawali said it was being ascertained whether Oli felt unwell just because of exhaustion or there was any kidney-related complaint as well.
Oli´s aide Indra Bhandari said the leader was recuperating and was likely to be discharged on Sunday. "We are making necessary arrangements for his arrival accordingly," Bhandari told Republica.
