KATHMANDU, Jan 23: CPN (Maoist Center) Chairperson and former prime minister Pushpa Kamal Dahal has said that the current government will not last long. On Thursday, while speaking to journalists at Surkhet Airport, Dahal stated that the government, which was formed “through illegal and unnatural means, will soon come to an end.”
He said “The government has been formed against democracy, the current constitution, and the people’s sentiments. This will not last long.”

He said that not only the opposition parties but also the parties in power have protested against the government. “The leaders of the Congress party are publicly stating that there is a lot of discontent within the UML,” he said.
Dahal accused Prime Minister KP Sharma Oli of trying to run the country through ordinances. “The current government is trying to rule the country by ordinance,” he said, “After a strong resistance, the government was compelled to summon a parliamentary session on January 31.”
He also accused the current government of protecting the corrupt while harming the organizations and employees who have done good work.
