Officials have started assessing the damage from the earthquake that struck Bhairab Kunda, Sindhupalchowk.

KATHMANDU, Feb 28: Officials have started assessing the damage from the earthquake that struck Bhairab Kunda, Sindhupalchowk.


Deputy Superintendent of Police (DSP) Niranjan Bhattarai of the Sindhupalchowk District Police Office said his team has started collecting damage reports. "So far, we have not received any reports of damage. We are still gathering information," he told Republica.

The District Administration Office is also working to evaluate the earthquake's impact.


A 6.1-magnitude earthquake hit Bhairab Kunda, Sindhupalchowk, at 2:51 AM on Friday, shaking various parts of the country.
