Observing V-Day with green intentions

KATHMANDU, Feb 14: WWF Nepal celebrated the second anniversary of 'The Generation Green' campaign with the event 'My First Green Date' that was held at Civil Mall in Sundhara on Sunday, February 14. The event was the launch of the 'Seed Your Future' campaign which is designed to encourage young people to be more committed to a greener future by planting a seed.

As February 14 is celebrated around the world as Valentine's Day, the organization united the occasion of Eco Club Day which falls on the same date to create 'My First Green Date'. More than 500 small packets of coriander seeds were distributed to encourage the practice of growing green among young people. Young people also wrote their messages toward a greener planet for all.Banker and The Generation Green mentor Anil Shah was also present at the event where he interacted with the youth and also encouraged them to grow plants.
