NRB to mop Rs 25 billion from BFIs

KATHMANDU, March 9: Nepal Rastra Bank (NRB) is set to withdraw an additional Rs 25 billion from the banking system for liquidity management.

The NRB is going to withdraw Rs 25 billion for 21 days through a bidding process system.


The NRB has sought proposals from banks and financial institutions (BFIs). The bidding system will be held online at 3 pm on Sunday. The NRB will pay the principal and interest on March 30.
