A Committee, comprising the representatives of the District Administration Office, Nepal Bureau of Standards and Metrology, Nepal Police and media persons among others, today sealed the Pump after it was found involved in irregularities in distribution and sale of petroleum products, according to the Chief District Officer (CDO) of Repandehi, Bishnu Prasad Dhakal.
The team found the Pump duping its consumers providing lesser amount of fuel with the use of double nozzle, CDO Dhakal explained.
Further investigation against the Petrol Pump is under way, it is said.
The Team is also learnt to be stepping up its monitoring of other petrol pumps in the district. RSS
