Sensitive Index, which measures the trading of Category ´A´ companies, also inched down by 0.68 points to settle at 104.54 points. All trading groups except the Hydropower and Manufacturing groups lost their sub-indices during Sunday´s trading. The Banking sub-index dropped by 3.53 points to close at 393.79 points. [break]
Hotel and Development Bank groups also lost their sub-indices by 3.47 points and 7.66 points to finish at 400 points and 431.26 points respectively. Similarly, Finance, Insurance and Others groups saw their sub-indices go down by 0.46 points, 1.58 points and 8.22 points to close at 384.5 points, 486.9 points and 526.38 points respectively.
Total turnover on the day was recorded at Rs 30.26 million with 118,200 units of shares and 75 scrips changing hands through 1046 transactions. Total market capitalization was recorded at at Rs 348.13 billion on Sunday.
