Nepali youth dies in Qatar

DHARAN, Sept 23: A Nepali youth who was in Qatar for job died after falling off an under-construction building on Tuesday.



Shyam Rajbhandari, 35, of Bhrikuti Marga in Dharan-8 died after falling off the first floor of the building on Tuesday evening, his family said. [break]







Rajbhandari had phoned his wife Tamashila a day before he died and told her that he would be coming home in mid-October.



Rajbhandari, who had been living in Dharan for the past 10 years, is survived by his wife and two daughters -- Binita and Binisha. He had gone to Qatar for job in June. According to his family, he had also gone to Malaysia before going to Qatar.



Rajbhandari´s parents have also arrived in Dharan upon hearing about the death of their second son.







"We were expecting our son´s return," his bereaved father Krishna Kumar said, adding, "Instead, we had to hear such undreamt of news." He said his son´s body would be brought to Nepal by the end of September.
