KATHMANDU, March 24: Nepali embassy in Kuala Lumpur is being relocated to Jalan Ampang after the owner of the current office at Wisma Goshen Building asked to vacate the office.

According to a press statement issued by Embassy of Nepal in Malaysia, the embassy office will be relocated at Wisma Paradise (Level 1, 3 and 9), No. 63 Jalan Ampang, 50450 Kuala Lumpur. Normal official works will resume from the new office starting from March 6.

The embassy said its services will be teporarily suspended between March 30 and April 3 as office relocation works will take place then.

Over 1,000 Nepalis visit the embassy on a daily basis seeking help. The management of the previous office building had asked Nepalese authorities to relocate the office, asking for over 128,000 ringgit as security and sanitation fees.

The embassy was shifted to the current location in May last year after facing a similar situation.
