Nepal to send assistance to  Myanmar quake victims

KATHMANDU, April 1: The government has decided to send relief materials to those affected by the recent earthquake in Myanmar.


Government spokesperson and Minister of Information and Communication Prithvi Subba Gurung announced that the Cabinet meeting on Monday decided to send immediate relief to the victims in Myanmar.

Minister Gurung explained that the government will send relief materials as humanitarian aid due to the significant loss of life and property caused by the earthquake.


Although the full extent of the damage in Myanmar has not yet been received, Nepal has committed to providing initial assistance.
