Nepal slips one point in FIFA world ranking

KATHMANDU, Oct 25: Nepal’s position in the FIFA ranking has dropped by a step, to stand at 161st position.  Earlier, Nepal ranked at 160.

KATHMANDU, Oct 25: Nepal’s position in the FIFA ranking has dropped by a step, to stand at 161st position.  Earlier, Nepal ranked at 160.


In the latest ranking the FIFA released on Thursday, India leads the chart for the South Asian countries, standing at 97th position, followed by Maldives (151st), Bhutan (188th), Bangladesh (194th), Pakistan (199th) and Sri-Lanka (201st) Afghanistan (154th) and Bhutan (163rd).

Belgium is in the first position while France in the second in the FIFA world ranking. Brazil, Croatia, England, Uruguay, Portugal follow suit.
