KATHMANDU, April 14: Nepal secured a stunning 8-wicket victory over Oman in the ICC U-19 World Cup Asia Qualifier. In the match at the Mulpani International Cricket Ground, Nepal chased down Oman’s target of 118 runs in just 14.3 overs, losing 2 wickets.
Nepal's spinner, Yuvraj Khatri, took 5 wickets. Niraj Yadav scored 46 runs, while Sahil Patel made 44 runs. In the 50-over game, Oman was all out for 117 runs in 38 overs. For Nepal, Santosh Yadav took 2 wickets, and three other players took 1 wicket each.
