Chairman of TAR Chamba Phuntsok and Commerce Secretary Purushottam Ojha, leader of Nepalese delegation of Nepal jointly inaugurated the trade fair amidst special ceremony.
On the occasion, Commerce Secretary Ojha highlighted the existing cordial Nepal-China relations including the economic and trade relations. He said conducting of this kind of fair will help in further cementing the deep-rooted historical, social cultural and economic ties between Nepal and TAR of China.
In the programme, Vice-Chairman of TAR Deng Xiaogang said Nepal and China have traditional friendship and long history of trade since long.
On the occasion, Consul General Naindra Prasad Upadhyaya Consulate General of Nepal in Lhasa and high level dignitaries from both sides were also present.
Altogether 171 enterprises are participating in the fair along with 58 stalls of Nepalese business entrepreneurs have been installed in the fair venue and more than 300 types of goods being displayed in the exhibition.
