DANG(Tulsipur), July 12: Senior leader of the CPN-UML and former prime minister Madhav Kumar Nepal has challenged former king Gyanendra Shah to win people´s confidence by setting up a political party instead of advocating for the restoration of monarchy in country.

Senior leader Nepal advised Mr Shah to set up an industry or devote to religion as an alternative to politics.

At a programme organized by the party here on Thursday, he denied the possibility of the restoration of monarchy in Nepal. "It is a daydream to claim the restoration of monarchy", leader Nepal said.

"Only way to solve present crisis is the resignation of the Prime Minister," he said, adding that the present government had no right to table the budget.

He was of the view that the constituent assembly dissolved only because of the Maoist party.
