NEB to conduct SEE examination through internal evaluation

KATHMANDU, June 1: Like in the previous year, the government has decided to conduct the SEE examination through internal evaluation. A minister, who was present in the cabinet meeting on Monday, said that SEE will be based on internal assessments due to the ongoing pandemic.

KATHMANDU, June 1: Like in the previous year, the government has decided to conduct the SEE examination through internal evaluation. A minister, who was present in the cabinet meeting on Monday, said that SEE will be based on internal assessments due to the ongoing pandemic.


On Sunday, the National Examination Board (NEB) submitted a report to the Ministry of Education with the option of conducting the SEE examination. On the basis of the report, Education Minister Krishna Gopal Shrestha had taken the proposal to the Council of Ministers.

The cabinet on Monday decided to conduct the examination through internal evaluation, the minister said. Earlier, the COVID-19 Crisis Management Center (CCMC)  had postponed the SEE examination scheduled for May 27 due to the spike in COVID-19 cases.
