SINDHUPALCHOK, March 8: Yuvraj Dulal, candidate of the Nepal Communist Party (NCP), has been elected from Sindhupalchok Constituency-2.
Dulal secured victory with 21,320 votes. His closest rival, Banshalal Tamang of the Nepali Congress, received 18,520 votes. The margin between winner Dulal and runner-up Tamang was 2,730 votes.

Among the 18 candidates contesting in the constituency, Sher Bahadur Tamang of CPN-UML received 15,395 votes, while Jhalak Kumar Shrestha of the Rastriya Swatantra Party (RSP) secured 13,730 votes.
With this result, the direct vote count in Sindhupalchok district has been completed. In Constituency-1, RSP candidate Bharat Parajuli was elected, defeating Madhav Sapkota of the Nepal Communist Party.
Parajuli received 24,412 votes, while his nearest competitor Sapkota secured 17,327 votes.
