KATHMANDU, Aug 29: Nepali Congress (NC) President Sher Bahadur Deuba has called a meeting of the party’s office-bearers and former office-bearers.
The meeting has been scheduled to take place at 9 AM on Saturday at Deuba's residence in Budhanilkantha.

Ahead of the central committee meeting on September 1, President Deuba has called a meeting of top leaders to seek consensus on the report by General Secretaries Gagan Thapa and Bishwo Prakash Sharma.
Deuba had discussed the report with the NC vice-presidents and general secretaries on Tuesday and Wednesday. However, after failing to reach an agreement in those discussions, a meeting of the office-bearers has been called.
