KATHMANDU, May 21: A meeting of Nepali Congress office bearers and former office bearers is set to take place at 9AM in Budhanilkantha.
The party has called for the meeting at party President Sher Bahadur Deuba’s residence to discuss and make decision about President Bidya Devi Bhandari’s ‘unconstitutional’ step to form a government as per Article 76(5) of the constitution after PM KP Sharma Oli decided not to seek a vote of confidence in the House of Representatives.

Major NC leaders, including Ram Chandra Poudel, Gagan Thapa, Bishwa Prakash Sharma and Dr Shekhar Koirala, have said that the president’s move is aimed at dissolving the House and shredding the constitution.
