KATHMANDU, Aug 23: The ruling Nepali Congress (NC) is holding its central committee (CC) meeting today (Friday). The meeting was scheduled for 11 AM at the party's central office in Sanepa.
The previous CC meeting, which was held six days starting August 7, was adjourned on August 12. Today’s meeting is a continuation of that session.

Discussions on 11 topics, including the agendas endorsed by the Mahasamiti, had been ongoing in the central committee since August 7. Some CC members have already expressed their views on these issues, while others will do so today.
The NC currently has a 168-member CC, including 13 office-bearers. The office-bearers have yet to express their opinions.
