KATHMANDU, Dec 1: The Nepali Congress (NC) has formally decided to allow party President Sher Bahadur Deuba to become active during the 15th General Convention.
The decision was made at a Central Working Committee meeting held on Monday in Sanepa, enabling Deuba, who has been serving as the acting head of the party, to take on active responsibilities again.

According to the decision, the party can deploy central representatives as needed during the convention, keeping the option open for President Deuba to participate actively.
“The Central Working Committee decided that central representatives may be appointed by the party president/acting president as required in connection with tasks related to the 15th general convention,” the meeting statement said.
