NC condoles death of democracy fighters

KATHMANDU, Nov 1: The Nepali Congress (NC) has expressed deep sorrow over the demise of two democracy fighters-- Sun Bahadur Gurung of Syangja and Purna Chandra Bhusal of Parbat.

Issuing a press statement, NC chief secretary Rishikesh Tiwari has wished for eternal peace to the deported souls and heartfelt condolence to the members of the bereaved families.


Gurung, 71, of Putalibazar Municipality-12 died at his residence on Saturday while Bhusal, 81, of Uram VDC in Parbat constituency-2 died some days ago.

Both the leaders actively participated in different democratic movements waged by the NC, it is said. RSS
