BIRATNAGAR, Jan 4: Nepali Congress central member Dr Sekhar Koirala has claimed that his party is able to protect and promote democracy.
Addressing a programme organized in Biratnagar on Saturday, Koirala said NC is ready to brave any element that threatens democracy.

The program was organized by Nepal Tarun Dal constituency no 6 to welcome new entrants in his party. He suggested the government to immediately curb corruption and price hike to ensure relief to the people.
"The government should be serious to show its meaningful presence," he said adding that youths have the strength to steer country towards progress.
On the occasion, Mayor at Biratnagar Metropolitan City, Bhim Parajuli, also opined that youth activism would help propel development activities.
