KATHMANDU, June 13: Nandi School recorded 7-1 win over Blue Wren in the Coca Cola Inter-school Football Tournament at Sano Gaucharan in Kathmandu on Monday.
Buddha Tamang netted a hat-trick, while Dhiraj Magar, Rabi Lama, Tika Thapa and Roman Rai scored a goal for Nandi. Similarly, Kamal Dhami of Nandi scored a suicide goal.
No limitation to beauty
In another match, Pegasas English beat Prithvi Secondary by 2-1 with Pratik Humagain scoring both the goals for the winner, while Anup Bhujel netted for Prithvi. Likewise, NK Singh Memorial defeated New Himalayan by 3-1. Prabin Lamichhane scored two goals and Safal Phuyal added one for NK Singh. Sirish Gurung scored only goal for New Himalayan.
Meanwhile, Vishwa Niketan beat Kailash Bodhi by 3-2 on penalties after the match ended on 1-1 draw.
