The main objective of the conference is to provide a unique international forum to facilitate the exchange of information to scholars practitioners and foster research cooperation, according to Dev Raj Adhikari, president of NAM. [break]“NAM aims to provide platform for experience sharing among scholars and experts of different countries," added Adhikari.
Adhikari presented a paper on management research on Monday which provided insights on the issues such as how to conduct research on cross cultural situation, how to carry out research in Nepalis context, need for respecting culture and values of the country while practicing management in Nepal and how to modify global management research practice in context of our country, among others.
Scholars from different countries focused on various topics such as human resource management and cross cultural study, multinational companies (MNCs) and international business, organizational leadership and change, small and medium Enterprises (SMEs) and entrepreneurship, innovation and knowledge management, economics, finance and accounts, marketing management and corporate social responsibility, among others.
Around 230 people from 32 countries are participating in the three-day long which started on Sunday. The conference is being held in collaboration with Presidential Business School and DAV Business School.
