SURKHET, Feb 7: The National Assembly (NA) election that commenced at 10:00 am in Province 6 concluded at 1:30 pm. The voting took place on the premises of the District Election Office, Surkhet, 40 State Assembly members and 198 local level representatives cast their ballots, according to Chief Election Officer Medini Prasad Poudel.
Two separate polling centers were set up for the State Assembly members and local-level representatives.

The election concluded peacefully before one and half hours of the schedule.
The vote count will begin soon and final results are likely to come by tomorrow morning, he said.
