MPRF-D, TDMP leaders hold talks on party unification

KATHMANU, Sept 25: The Madhesi Peoples’ Rights Forum-Democratic (MPRF-D) and Tarai Madhes Democratic Party (TMDP) held a talk in a bid to the unification of the two parties.



MJF (Loktantrik) General Secretary Jitendra Dev said the talk was held as part of a process to unify the parties. He added that they would continue the talks to this regard.[break]



Similarly, TMLP Joint General Secretary Jitendra Sonal said his party was for the formation of a single party with the unification of different political forces.



Chairman of MPRF-D Bijay Kumar Gachchadar, Vice-Chairman Rameshwor Ray Yadav and General Secretary Dev while TMDP´s Co-Chairman Hridayesh Tripathi, Joint General Secretary Sonal and central member Pushpa Thakur attended the meeting.
