KATHMANDU, Oct 10: A person was killed when a taxi hit his motorcycle at Sitapaila Chowk of Kathmandu last night. The dead has been identified as Niraj Lama, 23, of Roshi rural municipality of Kavrepalanchowk.

According to Metropolitan Traffic Division's Senior Superintendent of Police Basanta Kumar Panta, Lama who had been severely injured in the accident died at 2:00 am today in course of treatment at the Manmohan Memorial Hospital. Prakash Tamang, 23, from Kavrepalanchowk who was pillion riding on the motorcycle ( Ba 66 Pa 4609) is being treated at the National Trauma Center.
