LAHAN, July 11: A motorcyclist was killed last night after crashing into a tractor at Dhangadi area of Siraha district along the East-West Highway.
The deceased has been identified as Gudar Mukhiya of Lahan Municipality – 22. He died while being rushed to Lahan for treatment, Area Police Office, Dhangadi said.
The ill-fated motorbike (Sa 3 Pa 5058) was heading west when it crashed into the rear of a stationary tractor (Sa 1 Ta 3175) while trying to dodge a pedestrian crossing the road with domestic cattle at Dhangadimai Municipality – 10.
The pedestrian identified as Ram Ashish Yadav of Sothiyaeen – 9 of Siraha, who was injured in the incident, is receiving treatment at Ram Prasad Uma Prasad Memorial Hospital in Lahan, police said. RSS
