Mother of late Bhandari passes away

KATHMANDU, Oct 8: Chandra Kala Bhandari, mother of the late Madan Bhandari, passed away at the age of 83,on Friday night.



She died at 8:30 pm at Om Hospital while undergoing treatment for brain hemorrhage. [break]



She was admitted on October 2, said her son Dr. Kailash Bhandari.



The late Bhandari is survived by four sons and four daughters, whereas one son and one daughter had already passed away.



CPN-UML Chairman Jhalanath Khanal, former prime minister Madhav Kumar Nepal, NC Vice President Ram Chandra Paudel, CPN-UML Vice Chairman Bamdev Gautam and General Secretary Ishwor Pokhrel went to son Dr. Bhandari’s residence at Baneswor and paid tribute to the deceased.
