KATHMANDU , March 13: A group of journalists on Monday formed Media Nepal. The announcement of the formation of Media Nepal was made amid a program in the capital. The group has formed a 21-member working committee led by journalist Gopal Poudel as the chairman.

Journalists working at various media houses are members of the organization. Speaking during the program, Poudel said that the organization will work for the welfare of professional journalists and also organize various programs to enhance their professionalism.
