Marrs in Nepal for 3-day visit

KATHMANDU, June 12: Anna Marrs, Regional Chief Executive of ASEAN and South Asia as well as the CEO of Standard Chartered's commercial and private banking, arrived in Nepal on Saturday for a three-day official visit.

KATHMANDU, June 12: Anna Marrs, Regional Chief Executive of ASEAN and South Asia as well as the CEO of Standard Chartered's commercial and private banking, arrived in Nepal on Saturday for a three-day official visit.

Issuing a press release, Standard Chartered Bank Nepal Ltd (SCBNL) stated that Marrs has led the restructuring of commercial banking at the institution and scaled up private banking as well as wealth management ever since she was appointed the Regional Chief Executive of ASEAN and South Asia on November 28, 2016.


“She has also championed increased investment in technology and analytics across both businesses,” stated the statement. According to the SCBNL, Marrs is scheduled to meet bank officials, clients and other stakeholders during her stay in Nepal.
