KATHMANDU, Feb 24: The CPN (Maoist Centre) has launched a Terai Madhesh awareness campaign centered on the Postal Highway.
Chairman Pushpa Kamal Dahal inaugurated the campaign in Kachankawal, Jhapa on Monday. All the office bearers, including chairman Dahal had reached Jhapa for the campaign’s inauguration event.
Traffic Awareness Special Campaign launched

They had breakfast at the locals’ houses and participated in the program. Party Chairman Dahal inaugurated the campaign at Hukahuki Chowk in Kachankawal Rural Municipality of Jhapa. The campaign, which began in Jhapa, will conclude on March 20 after reaching Kanchanpur.
In the campaign, all central office-bearers from the president to the deputy general secretary, along with leaders and workers from the respective provinces, districts, and municipalities, will be mobilized.
The central campaign team will stay in a district for one day, while the local team will be fully mobilized for one month. Similarly, the campaign was launched as per the decision of the Central Committee meeting held on January 5 to 7.
After this campaign is over, a Maoist East-West Awareness Campaign will be launched with the people centered along the Mid-Hill Highway in Mid-April to mid-May (Baisakh).
