Maoist halts peace process: Gyanwali

KAILALI, Jan 27: Secretary of the CPN-UML Yubaraj Gyanwali has said that peace process was halted due to the UCPN (Maoist).



Inaugurating the Representative Council of the party´s District Committee, Kailali, on Friday, Gyanwali said that Maoist leaders were making statements of capturing power through people´s rebellion. [break]



He further said future of the country would be dark if the works of peace process and constitution could not be completed. Gyanwali added that all the political parties should work with seriousness for the same.



Gyanwali said that there was a challenge to build peace and constitution within the remaining four months period.He stated that there was a need of unity among the parties as the current political situation was pushed towards complexity.
