CHITWAN, Oct 7: Chairman of CPN (Maoist Center) and former prime minister Puspa Kamal Dahal has announced to contest both by-elections and general elections on their own.
During a press conference organized by the Press Center Chitwan at Bharatpur Airport on Saturday, Dahal expressed confidence that the Maoist Centre will win the elections on its own.

“Even though I stepped down as PM, there has been a strong foundation among the people. I have traveled across the country and seen the basis for contesting and winning the election alone,” he said.
On a different note, he emphasized the need for unity during disasters like floods and landslides and urged political parties, the government, and social organizations to work together for reconstruction efforts.
