The deceased has been identified as Sitaram Tamang of Narjamandap-4, Nuwakot. He died on the spot.
Dilman Tamang, the truck driver from Narjamandap-4, Harisharan Giri of local Haldekalika and two unidentified persons were critically injured. They have been sent to Kathmandu for treatment.
The mini-truck with registration number Ba 2 Kha 7821 was carrying chicks and heading toward Kathmandu at the time of the accident. The truck fell 200 meters down the road. Seven hundred poultry also perished in the accident.
