Man found dead in Hanuman Dhoka, two arrested

Police have taken two people into custody and started an investigation into the case of a young man found dead in front of the small Pashupatinath Temple in Hanuman Dhoka.

KATHMANDU, Feb 20: A man was found dead in Hanuman Dhoka on Thursday. 


Police have taken two people into custody and started an investigation into the case of a young man found dead in front of the small Pashupatinath Temple in Hanuman Dhoka.

Superintendent of Police (SP) Apil Raj Bohora, spokesperson for the District Police Range, Kathmandu,  said that a 31-year-old man named Sujan Shakya, with his name written on his hand, was found dead on Thursday.


SP Bohora said, “The name Sujan Shakya was written on the hand. However, his full identity has not been revealed yet. We have taken two people into custody in the case and are investigating.”


Police said that injuries were found on the body of the deceased.
