Mani Bhadra Kandel, 30, of Bihun-4 jumped into local ´Dobila Khola´ as he was being taken to Baglung Bazaar for the treatment, Shailendra Khadka, an information officer at the District Police Office, said.[break]
Kandel’s body was recovered later from the river.
Meanwhile, a police Assistant Sub Inspector, who had gone missing for last two days has been found dead today.
According to Khadka, Nara Bahadur Chhettri of Bajung-5 of Parbat district whose posting was at Dhorpatan Police station in the district, was found dead near by local Dhor River.
Police said that they have launched investigation over the death.
