KATHMANDU, Feb 29: Police have arrested a man from Kailali on the charge of raping a 14-year-old girl.
Asharam Chaudhary, 60, a resident of Tikapur Municipality-1, Kailali, was arrested on the rape charge, according to the Kailali District Police Office.

It is alleged that Chaudhary took the minor to the Kailasheshwar community forest and raped her.
The police arrested him on the basis of a complaint filed by the girl’s parents.
According to the police, further investigations are underway into the incident.
