According to Koshhari Niraula, Chief District Officer of Nuwakot district, the incident took place after Nepal Investment Bank delivered the corrugated sheets for the schools based in Bhadratar, Mahakali, Chaudhada, Panchakanya, Kabilash, Ganeshthan under six VDCs.
The locals seized the zinc sheets and handed over to the police while the team was returning from Kabilash.
The zinc sheets will be distributed among the schools under the District Disaster Rescue Committee.
Ramesh Mahat, District Secretary of Nepali Congress, clarified that there was no any ill-tension of selling the corrugated sheets.
