Local poll in stipulated date: UML leader Pandit

URLABARI, April8: CPN (UML) leader and former Minister Lal Babu Pandit has said that the local poll scheduled for May 14 will not be postponed at any cost. 


Speaking in an election publicity programme organized by the Urlabari town committee of the party, leader Pandit blamed that the ruling Nepali Congress and CPN (Maoist Centre) as they were plotting to postpone the election adding that his party will not let for the same.

He further said that other parties were plotting to postpone the election fearing UML's overwhelming victory in the election. 


The committee has formed a 1,871 member election publicity committee under the convenorship of Mukti Neupane. 


On the occasion party central member Dr Shiva Maya Tumbahamphe, alternate member Rup Narayan Shrestha, district chair Binod Dhakal had directed the party cadres to make the election campaign successful. RSS
