KATHMANDU, March 10: Westerly and local winds are partially influencing the country's weather. The Department of Hydrology and Meteorology (DHM) reported that Karnali, Sudurpashchim, and other hilly regions have partly to fully cloudy conditions, while the rest of the country remains clear.
Today's weather bulletin predicts partly to generally cloudy skies in hilly areas, while other regions will experience partly cloudy to mostly clear weather. One or two locations in the high hills and mountainous region may see light snowfall. Some hilly areas of Koshi, Gandaki, and Karnali provinces might also experience light rainfall with thunder and lightning.
Westerly wind likely to cause rain, snowfall
The DHM urged the public to take necessary precautions, warning that these conditions could slightly impact daily life, health, road transportation, and air travel.
